finger cymbal mufflers

Had my first lesson dancing with zils/finger cymbals yesterday and by the end of the class my ears were ringing and when I got home my husband confiscated them after about 10 minutes as I was driving him mad

That's when I realised I needed mufflers to dampen the sound they work well with just one of each pair covered.

Ooh, you must be a belly dancer. I've been a dancer since 1997 and taught at Dancebase in Edinburgh prior to having my baby girl. Not dancing these days but it's great to see that the crochet hobby can be useful there too. I've seen patterns for crochet on coin belts in books and it is quite common in the tribal style I think, I did Egyptian. Looking forward to seeing your future belly dance creations.

I started doing Egyptian last year but the class closed due to lack of interest and then I found myself drawn to the dark side and have been doing Tribal style since Feb this year
