♥pattern for crochet red baby sandal♥

My 2nd pattern. "Crochet baby sandal"

 

MATERIALS

2oz (red) 1oz (white)100% cotton worsted-weight yarn

G crochet hook

Yarn needle for sewing and weaving in ends

 

SOLE (make 4 for a pair of sandal)

 

Rnd 1: ch10 sc in 2nd ch from hook,

sc in next 7 chs, for toe, 5 sc in last ch,

working on opposite of chs, sc in next 7 chs,

2 sc in last ch, join with a sl st in 1st sc.

 

Rnd 2: Ch2 (counts as 1st hdc) hdc in same st,

hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc in ea of next 5 sts,

hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc n ea of last 2 sts.

join with a sl st in top of ch-2.

 

Rnd 3: Ch2 hdc in 1st st, hdc in next 12 sts,

2 hdc in ea of next of 3 sts, hdc in next 12 sts,

2 hdc in ea of last 2 sts, join

 

Fasten off.

 

FOR THE TOE STRAP OF SANDAL (make 2)

 

Ch 13. Fasten off, leaving a 6 inch tail for sewing.

 

FLOWER

 

Rnd 1: 7 sc in magic ring. join. (yellow yarn)

 

Rnd 2: ( attatch the contrasting color) ch 2,

2 hdc in sames st, 2 hdc in sames st,

*sl st in next st. ch 2, 2 hdc in same st.*

rep. frm * to * until u have 7 petals. fasten off leaving a 6 inch tail for sewing.

 

attaching the toe sttrap.

 

(right side) 1st strap. count back 7 st from center of the sole, sew the strap

then sew the end of 1st strap to the left side count back again 11 sts from center of sole then sew.

 

(right side) 2nd strap. count back 10 sts from center of sole sew the strap.

then sew the end of 2nd strap to the left side count back again 8 sts from center of sole then sew.

 

SEW THE FLOWER IN THE MIDDLE OF (X) 2 STRAP OF SANDAL..

 

fastren off.

 

FOR THE HEELS:

 

count back 6 sts from the 2nd strap of sandal right side..

attach the (white) yarn, ch 2 hdc in same st, hdc in next 15 sts.

 

ch 1, turn 1 hdc in each sts across,

ch 1 turn, 1 hdc across. fasten off.

 

for strap and button. right sandal

 

heel strap: ch 13 sc in 2nd ch from hook ch2 sc in next chs across. fasten off.

sew the strap to the last hdc you made right side.

 

button: ch2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join. fasten off leaving a 6 inch tail for sewing.

sew the button to right side..

 

for the strap and button of left sandal

 

heel strap ch 13, sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch2 sc across. fasten off

sew the strap to the left side of hdc sts.

 

button ch2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join. fasten off leaving a 6 inch tail for sewing.

sew the button to left side..

 

to finish the sandals sew seam the 2 sole or sc all around the 2 sole to finish.

these sandals are just adorable!! a friend of mine is expecting and we are both having csections on the same day.. she thinks shes having a girl, so i will make some for her.. if she has a boy, her sister is having a girl, so either way, they will be loved! just wanna make them they are too cute!! im having a boy.. so rules out making them for my little one...
