Visual Crochet Dot Com

Recommended Posts

I didn't see any reference to this site on here yet and thought I'd share it. http://visualcrochet.com is a site that sorts through the many different online crochet video sources and posts them in categories. They aim to choose the best video for each project that does a good job of explaining and demonstrating the project so you're not wading through all the poorly produced videos out there.

I found it by searching out some of the YouTubers I subscribe to like Teresa and Mikey and thought the layout was cool and simple. It also turned me on to some other YouTubers i'm following now.

Check out http://visualcrochet.com if you like doing crochet projects by watching videos!

Thanks Tess! I've bookmarked that sight.

I'd like to add a video podcast that is very well done. It is called New Stitch A Day. It's like having a video stitch dictionary. Each step is very clearly filmed and the audio is also very easy to understand. The pace is nice and slow so you can follow along. He'll usually repeat it and show how to start and end the row with each particular stitch. If it is a stitch pattern that takes more than one row to show up, he'll show how it lines up on each row and also show a swatch with some repeats, so you can see how it looks when the pattern really starts taking form.
