Boye "Yarn Talkers'

Has anyone used this fairly new product by Boye called Yarn Talkers? They are for wrapping leftover yarn on and mark the brand and how much left over. They remind me of the pokers I used to use in my vegetable garden for dates planted and type of veggie.

The web-stores I viewed did not show much on length and material made from. Anybody have any info or bought yet?

I saw them recently and thought the same thing I'd rather make new wrappers out of paper and tape them on.
