I've been searching for a pattern for something that my Great aunt used to crochet.
An Easter egg (white & decorated with crocheted flowers with leaves--no stems).
It's basically 2 halves of the egg stitched together in one spot
PLUS a crocheted chick that fits inside.
The picture below is a quite similar, except you tie it closed instead of buttoning.
