Operation Top Knot/Fort Hood Baby Shower

Good Morning Ladies,

 

I wanted to share with you some photos from the baby shower I volunteered at this past Saturday (April 30) at Fort Hood. It was incredible! The shower was sponsored by Operation Top Knot, which is a part of Soldiers Angels. Every expecting mother there (and there were approximately 150) went home with a basket "full" of goodies & a diaper genie! Plus, there were a ton of door prizes from gift bags to travel systems (car seat and stroller combos). And the cake....all I can say is WOW! It tasted just as good as it looked! It was donated by Bronwen Weber, from Food Network fame. All in all, it was a great day!!

Thanks so much for the pictures!!! It warms my heart. And I'm tickled to think that a couple of afghans I was able to make for the occassion are in one of those baskets.
