I am considering starting a crochet blog. Is there a provider out there who allows photo uploading from your computer rather than a photo storage place like Photobucket or Flickr?

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I use Blogger.. .and it works with uploading pics from your computer.

I use Blogger, too, and found it incredibly easy to set up. I upload pictures from my laptop all the time.

I found blogger to be super easy to use (yes, easy, direct uploads from your pc, even of multiple photos at one time; you have to do some fiddling to get short videos up, but that's do-able, too, although they used to have to be very short videos). I tried typepad when setting my blog up, but found it a little beyond me. This was a couple of years ago, and it may be easier now.

 

I believe there's now a way to use your own photo for the wallpaper of your blog, although I really like the flower design I use.

 

This is an easy way to show photos to my sisters, who live far away. Patty

I use Blogger, and it works fine for me. My sister uses WordPress, and she says you can upload pictures directly from your computer using that as well.

Window's Live Writer is great for writing blog posts, you can download it online.
