I finished this baby afghan last night!

 

I am in love with this pattern and am probably going to try to make it into a larger afghan the next time I make it. This was made with alpaca yarn and I purchased the pattern from the Interweave website.

That pattern is on my list for my grandbabies. Since we're Irish heritage I thought it would be fitting. I have the yarn for the first one. Just have to wait for whenever people get around to making me a grandma, not that I'm impatient or anything.

I bought it from the Interweave website... Think it was about 5.50 and would be easy enough to alter the pattern to make a much larger afghan!!

Very nice! Curious: how much yarn did this require? What dimensions is it? Could it work as a lapghan? What brand of yarn did you use? I too love the color!
