Plastic bag clothing featured on our local news last night

Hi everyone. I was watching the local news channel for LI last night and they had another segment on going green on LI. This time it was a young girl who had been taught to crochet by her grandma (I think she said grandma). Anyway, she was crocheting clothing, which is not unusual, except she was using plastic bags from different stores. She even had a runway show in college. Had a cute bolero type jacket made from Pathmark bags, another piece in yellow, made from ShopRite bags, others done with Walmart bags. They were really cute. Said one piece took about 50-60 bags to do. Showed a top, skirt, little dress for going out, even a tie.

 

I was out with a friend today and was telling her about it. She said how would you wash it?? I said, just spray it with a natural cleaner and then hose it off. Only way I could think of doing it.
