The Joy of Thread

I am so happy . I picked this up today at the store and this magazine is just that-all thread. Very glad magazine companies realize some of us are die hard threadies. I hope they keep it up.

I stopped at AC Moore today and saw it. I believe it is from Crochet magazine. Looks like a special issue. Years ago I did thread crochet but now I am so used to yarn, I can't (no matter how I try) seem to stay focused on thread. But I admire the beautiful work that everyone does.

I looked at this online, but they don't show anything but the cover. How do I know if I want it if I can't see the projects?

 

Probably I don't need it, but you know how it is--new thread patterns? Gotta have 'em.

The only chart is for a filet crochet tablecloth called Oval Roses.

 

But I agree... got to have the thread patterns. I can't get enough, and I will never live long enough to finish making all the patterns I own.

I just found this today at my local store, I agree, so glad to see a new "thread" crochet mag.. I am going to see if I can't find out how to let them know that we want more of these thread magazines... Yeah Crochet World...keep them coming

Look closely at this mag before you buy. You are only getting about 5 new patterns for $9.99. The rest have all been previously published that you may already have if you've crocheted for awhile. Some are actually available free online.

While it did have a few patterns I recoginzed I did find a couple I would love to make. I did get 10% off my mag so got it for 8.00 (no tax in oregon). I am going to make the filet tablecloth first then the christining set.... Also love a couple of the motifs....well worth the money for me... Also Kathys Avalon doily, although I think I already have that patten... Good luck to all...What are you making first???
