2 newborn and an 18 month old sweater sets

These all are orders I had from one lady!

She wanted a newborn girl set.....this is what I made for her.

 

 

This is a pattern from an older leisure arts book I inherited.

 

She also order a new born, and an 18 month size sweater set for boys.

 

I made the pattern up as I went along.

 

What do you think?

You made these up as you went along? wow, that's amazing! I just LOVE the little puppy dogs outfits! I have a cousin that is having a baby boy, and it just seems so hard to find little boy patterns. these are just perfect. perfect.

I love these so much, I have to keep coming back, just to see the little pupply dog hats and sweaters! so freaking cute! How can I make this? I know you said you made it up as you went....is there a pattern, if you remember?

Actually.. I was not smart...I didnt write the pattern down as I went...HOWEVER...

I have to make up one more set now for my great-nephew.

Soo.. I will take notes this time!

 

I will post the pattern when I am done.

I did the sweater in 3 pieces, the body, then 2 sleeves.

I HATE hand sewing.

 

The hat...Its just a basic hat, with switching colors at the end.

The colored eye is just a circle...nose a half ball..and ears...

I made up the hat, then cut out ears out of paper and tried them on the hat.

Using the paper hat as a template, I just started crocheting to match the shape.

 

I am going to start on the sweater set this afternoon...and hope to be done within 2 days or so.

 

I will post the pattern shortly after!
