My first hat

Completed my first hat tonight! It was also my first in the round project. Tension is something I constantly battle with, so I was a little concerned.

 

 

I used the pattern suggested by Crojulee here with the modifications she suggested in another thread-

I like how it turned out and my son loves it! Now I have to make another one for my other son!

Thanks ladies! The colors are really more subdued. I had to take a pic with my phone and I haven't figured out all the settings yet.

Your hat turned out really really nice!! Color of yarn is great!! I've been on a hat making "binge", I'll have to try this one as soon as I finish working on a "knit" beanie!!

LOVE IT! I'm wanting to make a hat myself and was searching through the 'Ville for a particular hat, and here it is! I'm going to try it! This will be my first hat too! Love the yarn you used!

I really like the colors of the yarn too, and this looks much better than the first hat I ever made as well
