These were a huge hit at my bookclub and with my family. I used the shatterproof ornaments from wal-mart. I made about 48 in total, here's some pics of the ornaments I had leftover.

I make ornaments like these every year. I buy the balls after Christmas when they are on clearance for the next year.

Thanks everyone , I didn't use a pattern for them. I couldn't find any covers that were made in one piece, so I just winged it and wrote down how I did them.
