Wooden Raggedy Ann-like doll

Hubby and I went to a flea market in Sept. and I came across a little 9" wood doll with the limbs hanging off(unstrung). The elastic broke. The woman gave her to me for 25 cents. Hubby wondered what I was going to do with her.

 

I have been working on her for months, a little at a time.

 

First I took what hair was left on her head. Her original clothes were filthy so I cut them off her. I then sanded her down and penciled her features. I painted her up and sprayed all of her with a sealant. I used wire and buttons to put her limbs back on her and sewed her a dress and bottoms. I created her a crocheted wig and she is finally put together ....unless I decide to sew her an apron and crochet her a little bear... Here she is making her debut:
