Do Rag hat pattern

Has anyone made any of the do rag hat patterns out there? I found one on a site but it is not free. I can find sewn ones, but the crocheted ones are so cute! I saw a few on kids and they are adorable....

Check your local library. (Mine had a copy) "Hip Hats & Cool Caps" by Afya Ibomu.

Or you can take a sewn du rag apart and use it as a pattern to crochet each peice and put them back together. Just a thought. I would use sock yarn as its more stretchy and start of with a simple single crochet and play around with it. Take lots of notes so you can recreate what you make.
