OH MY GOODNESS!!! That is amazing...so gorgeous...I did one making squares and then sewing them together...but doing one big solid one is so pretty too...you can see mine by clicking on my blog link in my signature below...but you did an amzing job...the colors are awsome!!

Wow, 31 skeins of yarn! I have been looking at all the pictures of the wool eater afghans and they are just beautiful. I am going to have to give it a try.

 

I do have one question...how heavy is this afghan? It looks like it is very solid and heavy.

Plenty warm enough!

 

Yes, it is heavy! My mom weighed it, and it's about 17 pounds.:lol Of course, the weight's spread out over the whole bed, which makes the weight less noticeable. It's pretty warm, too- great for Minnesota winters.:D

Oh, yours turned out so pretty!!! I absolutely love the colors!

 

I just started this pattern the other day for my oldest DD, and I love how fast it's working up so far. I wish I'd seen Sarah London's instructions for it, though - hers is SO much easier to follow than the one I used!
