Hi Lilly60

You would need to purchase the booklet from Coats & Clark for the pattern as making copies is copyright infringement. :)

However, you could make any basic ripple pattern in the colors given for the afghan you want on the C&C site. They are:

Red Heart Super Saver: 672 Spring Green, 334 Buff, 400 Grey Heather.

Maybe one of these pattern links will pique your interest:

Ripple Ripple(may require free membership)

thanks, for the info, renni. :manyheart i was afraid it may be an infringement.

and as i don't have any decent pattern stores in the neighbourhood,

thought i'd ask,,,,

wasn't so much the colours, (though nice to know what they are), as how the ripple seemed puffier, than usual -

then again just may have to do with how many stitches - so getting out the magnifying glasses, haha.

i think the texture is done by crocheting in the back loop only.

also i notice the ripples are not the same width all the way across---they are shorter on the edges and wider in the middle. that's a pretty unusual look, don't know that i've seen any like that before.

There used to be a pattern on the back of the RH yarn wrapper with a graduated ripple on it. My mother made one for one of my daughters years ago. I'll have to check my leaflets and wrappers for it. And, yes, I agree with magiccrochetfan, it looks like it is worked in the back loop for the raised look.
