Magic Ball Afghan

This is the Magic Ball Afghan I made for my son and his girlfriend. Sorry for the poor pic quality, my son took it with his phone as I forgot to get a pic before I gave it to them! I see her cat, Bean, has made himself at home on it already!

I love it! The colors and pattern worked up perfectly as a gift for both a guy and gal. And Bean just shows us how snuggleable it is!!!

Wow that's pretty. The colors remind me of the Maternity Sweater I bought just before I had DD 24 1/2 years ago. I still wear it in winter cause it's nice and warm and the colors go with everything.

P.S. Mrs. Principal, what looks like black in the pic are actually dark greens. It does look like black in this pic though!

I'm wondering if this turned out to be heavier than a normal afghan? I'm thinking of making a shawl with the two strands but I was wondering if it's extra thick because of the two strands.
