that is very pretty! and putting them together, is where I have the most fun, arranging and reaaranging, lol however, sewing or attatching them to each other, is something completely considered a nesessary evil, in my crochet book anyway, lol Nice job!

Well, I made all the granny squares except the last round - that's when I joined them together with the join-as-you-go method.

Great story and beautiful blankie!!! I love how the white joins it all together but then you still have the great colors.

 

I will have to try the join and go method... Does it really hold secure? I am used to whip stitching each stitch together and it forms a solid connection... this seems to only connect at the chain holes. Looks great though!!!!!!
