2 Yarns and hook of choice

 

 

Sides make 2

 

Row 1-

Chain 16

HDC in 3rd chain from hook

HDC in each chain across

 

Row 2-

Turn, Chain 2

HDC in each stitch across Back loops only

 

Fasten off and weave in ends.

 

 

Front/Bottom/Back

 

Row 1

Chain 12

HDC in 3rd chain from hook

HDC in each chain across

 

Row 2-8

Turn, Chain 2

HDC in each stitch across

 

Row 9

Turn, Chain 2

HDC in each stitch across back loops only

 

Row 10

Turn, Chain 2

HDC in each stitch across front loops only

 

Row 11

Turn, Chain 2

HDC in each stitch across back loops only

 

Row 12-19

Turn, Chain 2

HDC in each stitch across

 

Fasten off and weave in ends.

 

Sew sides to front/bottom/back.

Make sure fold is towards the inside.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

 

 

Attach contrasting yarn at top corner

Chain 1

SC around the top evenly.

 

Chain 2

HDC in each stitch around.

 

Handles

 

Turn, Chain 1

SC in first 2 stitches, Chain 10, Skip to the last 2 stitches in row and sc in them.

SC each stitch of side.

SC in first 2 stitches of row, Chain 10 skip to the last 2 stitches in row and sc in them.

SC each stitch of side.

Slip stitch to beginning.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

 

Halloween- orange, black, purple, yellow, green multi colors, etc.

Thanksgiving- multi fall colors, browns, golds, etc.

Christmas- red and green, purple and silver/grey, blue and silver/grey, Victorian Christmas colors, etc.

St. Patrick's- gold, green, white, black, etc.

St. Valentine's- pinks, reds, white, etc.

Easter- pastels, pinks, yellows, white, greens, etc.

Birthday themes

Baby shower- pinks, blues, greens, yellows, etc.
