Friends in El Paso or Las Cruces????

I will re-locate to Mexico and would like to make friends with yarn buddies in El Paso, TX or Las Cruces, NM. I figure with my crochet addiction, I will have to travel the 400 miles to the US at least once per month to get supplies. I plan on keeping a home base in Las Cruces NM. Would be nice to have friends.
