In case you don't have a Ravelry account (not everyone does), here are direct links.

This one is more what you want I think and it's free:

This is the second one that was linked but it's not free:

Here is the last one mentioned. It is not free and probably not what you want:

Good luck with your shawl. :)

None of those are really Our Lady of Guadalupe. While they are all the Holy Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe is a bit different and distinct. Not really sure that she wanted to a make shawl with it either?

I too would LOVE to find a filet of Our Lady as I have a deep closeness to her and her blessings. Hope someone out there can help.

I looked up the image and while I agree they aren't what she wanted (even said so), I thought the first looked close enough. As for being shawls, I figured she could take the basic pattern and square it up for her needs.

Sometimes the things we want just aren't out there and we have to figure them out ourselves or fiddle with what is available to make it what we want.

There is always the option of graphing it yourself/herself:

Thank you Empress Busy Bee for posting all those links and it is true the first link looks like the Virgen De Guadalupe and its possible to make it into a rectanglei and maybe frame it?

I thought I saw a cross stitch of the Virgen De Guadalupe in a catalog put out by Herrshners, but it was some time ago.

Thank you to all who helped me look for a pattern. Special thanks to Empress Busy Bee. I did like the first link you sent, which was actually the Blessed Mother. I downloaded it and saved it incase I don't find the actual Lady of Guadalupe,

And a special thank you to Kitty Lover Deb who pointed out that it is not exactly Lady of Guadalupe. I am not Catholic, so do not know the small differences. But Lady of Guadalupe was my beloved husband's patron saint, and he is gone now, so I would like to do a filet picture for him.

Yes, I am a very experienced "hooker" so I can make changes -- if I knew what they were. Could you please help me KittyLoverDeb?

And thank you for looking for "free" patterns. I will pay for the pattern, but free is always better.

So again, thanks to all of you. This is my first post on Crochetville, and it was a wonderful experience. Happy Hooking to all of you. Autumn

Y. Marie said she saw a X-stitch at Herschners, so I checked, and yes, they carry a beautiful X-stitch kit for $29.99. :yay Yes, I am experienced in both X-stitch and crochet so I can adapt the X-stitch pattern to crochet. Thank you so much, Y. Marie for suggesting this.

I also have kept the shawl pattern suggested by the other lady,Empress busy Bee, , but I would like to privately email with Kitty Lover Deb to learn the "differences."

Thank you so much to all you lovely hookers. :manyheart
