Kristen’s designs utilize clever stitch motifs as well as traditional and innovative shaping methods. You’ll even find specialty techniques such as colorwork, beadwork, and lacework are used in many of her projects. Even though they are made with fine yarn, many of Kristin’s designs work up quickly and easily by virtue of their openwork laciness.

If you’re used to working with nothing but worsted- or bulky-weight yarns, you may need to practice a little to become used to working with finer yarns. Not to worry, though, as the stitches are all the same. You should only need to experiment with your tension and how you hold your yarn to be successful at working with finer yarns.
