Thanks everyone...they are my first cables, and I'm not a very proficient knitter to begin with, so I know that I have a way to go, but I love cables, so I am dedicated to learning...the pink is just something that I had on hand.

What a beautiful job you did on the cables! I can't believe they are your 1st ones. That is one of my goals for the next year, to improve my knitting. I tried just doing the cable stitches, but need to practice more before I actually put them in a real project....

Very pretty I love the bright color. I want to learn how to knit cables. I plan to do the workshop at a local yarn shop. The workshop is a scarf and you learn the cable stitch and a few others.
