kelvweb Posted June 13, 2010 I saw these paper crochet pillows in a Pottery Barn Catalog: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/paper-crochet-pillow-cover/ 'Looking for a pillow pattern like this as well as a source for the paper "yarn" used. Thank you!
0 Empress Busy Bee Posted June 13, 2010 They look like back and forth crochet with edges of cable. I am sure you can find something similar in most magazines, books, at Ravelry and CPC. As for the paper, not sure what they used but you could use twisted raffia or something. I did a search and found these under paper twist and twisted paper: http://www.sandartsupplies.com/StoreBox/papertwist.htm http://www.harveyshobbyhut.com/shop/category.aspx?catid=
0 magiccrochetfan Posted June 13, 2010 I agree there are a lot of things you could use. The only paper yarn I know of is by Habu textiles, they have several and if you google "habu paper yarn" several different things will come up. one example http://www.knit-purl.com/store/pc/Habu-Textiles-Shosenshi-Linen-Paper-Yarn-A-60-30p2125.htm the cables in the Pottery Barn pics look knitted to me, though the rest of the pillows look crocheted.
