Such a cute purse for the Summer

I remember that purse pattern. I only like doing tapestry crochet, but this one really intriged me and I decided to give it a try. After several attempts and still NOT getting the pattern to end correctly at the end of each row, I just went back to doing what my fingers seem to know best... tapestry. VERY nice bag! I like your flowered flap. It adds a special interest to the bag.

Bob, the 'trick', I think, with ending most rows with that pattern seems to be working that final dc behind your last FPdc. It's not worked right next to it like you'd think, so pull your last post stitch aside a bit to work a dc into the last stitch of the row you're working on; at least that's how I handled it.... Either that, or, stick to what your fingers know so, so well - I love the tapestry crochet work that you've been sharing with us; beautiful craftsmanship! It has me wanting to try my hand at it sometime soon.
