Thread crochet caddy

I bought a free standing toilet paper holder at Target. It is better than most because it doubles as storage for that second roll. I am using it for crocheting my flowers so it works great because I can have several colors handy...see pics below

It is cheaper then the thread caddys at Michaels too!

I use something simular. I use one of the wooden toilet paper holders to hold my crochet thread when I crochet. I paint it first if it doesnt come painted first like the ones you can buy at the Mill Store then I glue felt at the bottom of the base so I don't scratch the table Im may be sitting at.
