Does anyone know where I could donate doilies for charity?

I love to make doilies and I would like to donate them for charity but I dont know what charity would accept them. Does anyone here know of some?

Ha, ha...as all of us threadies know...those doilies can really start to pile up! I don't know of any charities, but maybe search through the wishing well and see if anyone has doilies listed?!

What about checking with your local Long Term Care facilities? It would be something lovely to brighten up the rooms of the residents and make them feel more like home.

You might be able to donate them to a group doing a rummage sale, a bingo or a "Tricky Tray/ Chinese Auction".

They would also be nice prizes for Bunco or Bingo at a Nursing Home. They are always looking for small gifts for the residents.

A nursing home was my first thought. Maybe a Hopsice house?

They would make a nice gift for a Habitat For Humanity home.
