A stashbuster afghan

[Afghaniac]

Just finished this afghan for Project Linus. Unlike so many scrap afghans, it wasn't necessary to buy a main-color yarn. The pattern is from The Big Book of Scrap Afghans. I think it's called Sonora Desert.

 

P.S. The dent it made in my yarn stash is not even noticeable. I need to do many more like this before I yield to the temptation to buy new yarn.

Hi, Bev. Haven't talked to you in a while -- the last time may have been on the other forum, which isn't getting much traffic anymore. Thanks for the nice words. Still trying to chop into the yarn stash, I just started on an afghan made up of big floral hexagons. Colors are really random this time, and it will look like a scrap afghan, but I've seen some random ones that really have charm. We'll see . . . !
