I'm letting my dorkiness show through ! , but I wanted to share a crochet sighting. In the October issue of National Geographic there is a story on the people of Columbia's Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The local tribesmen carry a sack with them everywhere that they have hand crocheted. The author calls it weaving, but in a few photos of the men you can see the bags clearly.
