Kitchen Items For My Granddaughter

Lynn

Recommended Posts

I have spent the past week making things for my granddaughter's new kitchen. She just moved into her house 2 months ago and I'm going to see her tomorrow so thought I'd do up a "goodie bag" for her

Awww, thank you all for the kind words:manyheart

Yes, the ones tied are coasters. I don't know if the kids today even use coasters but I thought they were cute!

The flower scrubbie came from the Annies Attic book called BIG BOOK OF DISHCLOTHS,POTHOLDERS & SCRUBBIES. Its the Mum Scrubbie. I didn't put a hanger on it as the pattern called for and instead of using the pre-made mesh pot scrubber I made my own nylon scribbie to attach it to. Its actually a very easy pattern to make

I gave them to her today and she was just thrilled! She especially just LOVED the tea towel and wants another one so she can hang them on either side of her stove! I'm soooo glad she liked everything. She said future hubby is going to say, "oh no, more pink!" lol
