Husband wanting to buy wife gift - wooden crochet hooks

Jimbo hooks are a bit more than I can afford right now, as I wanted to get her 3. I will definitely direct her towards Jimbo once I get her mine.

 

Oh well, that's understandable. I'm sure she'll love the ones you pick out, too! You're very sweet to put so much effort into a gift! Just this morning I warned my DH not to call the wrist support and book stand he is going to have to supply me with (so that I can do some typing for HIM) a gift. So I'm very impressed! You'll have to show her this thread after you gift her the hooks!

Bill at Turn Of The Century is making me 3 custom hooks, a G,I, and K.

I found an old wooden wine box I'll put them in. I want to get her some yarn or other fun stuff to pack in there. Any ideas?

Glad you decided on the hooks.

 

As for yarn, take a peek at what she's already using. Red Heart is pretty cheap so you'll be able to get a few different colors for her. If you get any multiples of the same color, make sure the dye lot is the same number near the upc....if not, the color may be slightly off.

I'd just go take a look at the local yarn store. You may see something nice to add just by browsing. If you decide to get yarn, though, be sure to check the dye lot like Marisa said.
