Thanks. When I was crocheting it, I kept thinking, "Howdy Doody" because of the white edging that goes into the fabric, as well as the brown and blue combo.

i might have overlooked it on the site but is that pattern available outside of the kit? exchange that brown for an orange and i have a co-worker that would die for a bag like that, hehe.

I've "given" the pattern to Missa of Knit Pixie, and right now she's offereing it only as a kit. She's very easy going and an overall nice person. If you nudged her, maybe she could work something out with you. It never hurts to ask!
