I bought some drilled shells and some freshwater pearls to make a necklace for a friend's birthday last year, but I couldn't seem to get the hang of it. The wire just wouldn't cooperate for me. So now I have bags of stuff and she didn't get the necklace I imagined. Maybe my wire was too firm? I don't know....

Wow! they turned out great. I bought all the things needed to crochet a wire/bead bracelet about 4 years ago. Everything is still in the bag they came home in - untouched. One day....
