babypoohsmom
It will be so nice to get these done ahead of time this year. I stayed up all night to get one done for 2010 because I didn't think to look for the info until the regular Olympics were getting ready to start. Thanks for posting now! FrLopLady
Vanessa does it matter what pattern we use just as long as we use the right RH red yarn?
VanessaH
You can use any pattern you want and adapt it to the approx. 5"x55" size. Thanks for asking!

mandymae
This sounds wonderful! I have two skeins of RHSS white in my stash box, so I'll just have to pick up some Cherry Red. Edited April 21, 2010 by mandymae I answered my own question from my first post!
HollyzHobbyz
I made two of the red & grey scarves in February for the Special Olympics! But, I think I can manage another one...in memory of my brother-in-law, Bill, who passed away on Saturday, April 10. He loved participating in the Special Olympics in Wisconsin. oldcountrygirl
I would be glad to make a scarf or two and I know my DD would as well. Also I would be willing to buy a skein of red and white and send it to someone who would like to help, if they need it.
VanessaH
Thank-you to all of you who are helping make scarves! I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with - please feel free to post pictures of scarves to share, if you want! Happy Crocheting.
dragonlady
I told myself I wasn't buying yarn. But I will go out and get the red yarn and do some of these. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
VanessaH
I know what you mean - I always say "I'm not going to buy anymore yarn until I work up what I have" and then a special project comes up that I need to get something specific for - oh, well, it's for a good cause, right?
