I mailed out my four puffies today.

I need more puffy envelopes!! I have four puffies ready to go out. All I did today was crochet squares. (I will have plenty to do when the kids get home... Homework, dinner, dishes.... )

 

I get mine from Dollar Tree. 6 in an package.

I have a pretty simple wishlist...all I am asking for are 8" made with any color acrylic worsted weight yarn. Thanks to all who send. I plan on looking through all these great wish lists and starting on getting some sent out. I really think this is a great idea. I know when I complete my friendship-ghan from all the squares I get it will be such a joy to look at the generosity of many fellow crocheters out there who took the time and the devotion to contribute to many afghans from all around.

To everyone who asked what new book I got, it's the 99 Granny Squares book(let?). Everything was on sale, too. (Bonus. ) I also got a snowman ornament that is two balls of yarn, with knitting needles for his arms~ so cute!! And a box of Christmas Cards. I hope to get some more squares crocheted, today; from my new book. I wanted to do that yesterday; but I didn't even have time to sit down, and I got the call from my sons' school. Then I had him home (w/ a ton of homework to do.. ) So, today... :hook :hook

 

And, I think I only need 6 more squares!! 4 solid colored (but no more turquoise/teal though please, I still have three of this color that I haven't used yet ), and two multi-colored or variegated. Thank you, everyone!! :hug :hug

I have one I think, ready to go, a 12 incher, but you know what, I made it with some left over simply soft by caron, and I can't find who wanted simply soft! I found one person, but she wants just blue, this one is tan, and blue, and off white, I think, so any takers out there, or should i just hold onto it till a need arises!! Dilemmas dilemmas!

I don't care what kind of yarn is used as long as it is worsted weight. I've already got a couple in RH soft, which I think is similar to simply soft by Caron, so whatever.

You're welcome! I'm glad it got there safe and sound! Orange was about the only vibrant color I had but I thought it was somewhat appropriate since your bday is in October

Speaking of squares I got an awesome one from Skoggy today! It might have been in the mail yesterday but I didnt' get a chance to check it then. And funny enough once again my friend was with me when I checked it. The last 3 squares I got she was with me when I checked the mail

I really love this square since it was also the one Skoggy did on ILYD! This one will be very special to me! The picture is a little off as far as the color is concerned.
