Scripture Afghan ~ Finally Finished! :)

Hello! everyone ~

 

It's been a long while since I've been back here, but this afghan was messin' with my head! I finally finished it this past Thursday night! Now maybe I can come and play again ~ LoL I did a little modifying to it, to girly it up a bit ~ adding a scalloped edge around the squares and the outer edge of the afghan. I'm really pleased at how it turned out. I hope the attached picture works so you can see it ~

 

It's good to be back and see what everyone's been working on.

Thank you all for your compliments! I had started the afghan this time last year ~ ~ hoping to finish it for a friend's birthday in November, but alas . . . One reason for chosing the Fall colors, too. The original pattern called for light and dark blues, and pinks, which I didn't really care for. Then I added the scalloped edging. It was a challenge for me, but I enjoyed learning the different stitches it called for.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful compliments ~ Yeah, I kinda got to test it's warmth while stitching the squares and rows together ~ LoL ~ Now it's put me in the mood to make others.
