I've been playing with converting picture knit patterns to crochet since I can't knit to save my life! This was suppose to be a dishcloth, but ended up so large (almost 12"x12") and I liked it so much I'm going to make a bunch more with different patterns to get me a blanket! I still need to wash and block it though.

Oh, my goodness, that is something that "I've been thinking about" also (since I can't knit either), but "ideas" are still in my head and no where near what you have done. Looks like you have an excellent start. Congrats!

Thanks! What I did was where it says to purl I sc, and knit I fpdc.

That is so cute! Can you tell us where you found the pattern? A friend's birthday is coming up and I think this would be ideal.
