The Virginian

Recommended Posts

This Sunday morning as my husband and I ate our breakfast we had the TV on. We were watching a station that broadcast all programs from the past. On Sunday mornings they have "The Virginian." During one scene there was a lady sitting in her parlor/living room talking with Robert Fuller's character (can't think of his name on the show). While she was talking with him I thought at first she was knitting because the "needle" I could see was so long. But as I continued to watch her hands I realized she had only one "needle" in one hand and yarn in her other hand. Suddenly I said outloud "She is crocheting." I explained to my husband I was confused at first because her hook was so long. I suspect it was an afghan hook. I am not sure what she was crocheting as she did not have much done. It looked more lacy like it might have been a shawl rather than an afghan. But I was so excited that I spotted someone crocheting in a TV program. An older TV program at that.:clap:yay:yes:jumpyay :woo
