Post Stitch Afghan

Picked up a book at local used bookstore a few weeks back and I thought this looked interesting to try.

Was my first time ever doing post stitch and I learned a lot from it.

It's so pretty. I like that the blocks are different colors. Was it hard to learn the post stitches?

It was a little tricky at first, but once I understood what it was I was supposed to do it was a breeze. It gave a "Knit 1, Purl 2" appearance to some of the squares.

Very pretty. How big are the squares?

Each square is about 6-7".

The pattern has no square touching a square with the same design, which I really liked.

The name of the book is "Quick-Stitch Crochet" and a picture of this afghan is on the front cover.

I got mine at a used book store, but here's the amazon link to one: http://www.amazon.com/Quick-Stitch-Crochet-Needlecraft-Shop-Judy/dp/1573672955/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268600938&sr=8-1
