Rainbow swirl earflap hat

and tried it out, but did my own little twist to it. First hat pattern I've followed lol

as you can tell by the vibrant colours, these were all scrap yarn I had left. Turned out pretty cute though.

I just wish I did a final trim in purple to finish the colour pattern, ahh well.

I want to make a plain beanie one without the ears in navy or grey or something for myself. I know it won't be the last one I make, I'm addicted to making hats. I like the swirl look.

I'd like to make one of these hats for my almost 2 yr old granddaughter and was wondering about the size. Harmony's head is approx 17 1/12 inch diameter last time I measured.
