I taught my sis to quilt a few years ago. Well now she wants to crochet and she ask me to teach her. As soon as we can get together I get to help her. I told her it was addicting both crochet and yarn hoarding and she said she only will buy what she needs for a project when she needs it nothing more. Boy is she in for a shock. I'm going to take her to the lys before and after she learns. Let's see if she can stick to her statement then.

It's so true. We all think we "just buy for what project we plan on working on", and then more just jumps in the cart. Esspecially when they are on sale or clearance!

 

I have four large containers to prove that yarn just jumps in the cart!

I remember when I started I had maybe 5 skiens and now I'm up to 30 and my dd and I are going to hobby lobby and micheals. Plus the lys. So my sis is in for a rude awakening.
