Need Edging Suggestions

Question

I'm making a baby blanket using waffle weave and a very delicate light pink yarn. I feel like I've worked myself into a corner because blanket is thicker which isn't typical for a baby blanket. Now I don't know what kind of edging to put on it that will go well with the blanket and still be pretty enough for a baby blanket. Any suggestions?

The hearts and flowers edging. 3rd row on this page

It's wide enough to soften the thickness of the blanket. The base is thick enough to make a nice transition and it's pretty enough to make the blanket 'pop'.

You don't have to do the hearts. You could leave it blank or do little flowers or any little applique that makes you happy.
