Comfortghans for very sick lady's daughters

Got some bad news today. A work colleague of my husband's was rushed to hospital (after she collasped at work and again at the docters). They found a blood clot on her brain. Sadly they had to put her into an injuced coma and they lost her twice. Its not looking good for her. She has had emergency surgery. However if she does make it through she may be brain damaged.

 

Her young daughters are not doing to well (one is 18 and the other is 14). I would love to make both girls a comfortghan but at the moment I have so many projects on that I would take me a few mths to make both.

 

So Im asking if anyone would like to help. I looking at 10" squares (any pattern will do) in bright colours (as their mother is a very bright and bubbly person). I will PM you my address.

Worsted weight or acrylic would be great and any bright colours will do (red, yellow, blue, green)

 

I just found out that she is out is surgery but not sure on how she is.
