CAL Beginner Projects

Intimidated by the difficult patterns all over Crochetville? Relax, sit back and discover new patterns, friends and techniques with other new crochet artists.

 

We will change the projects as people begin to complete them. Once three completed projects are posted per pattern we'll find a new pattern to replace it! This group is as much about support as it is about finding the easy and fun patterns.

 

Anyone who has easy patterns, feel free to post them. We might use your pattern next if it's easy enough for every beginner!

 

 

Our current projects are all free patterns from Lion Brand yarn. We won't always be using Lion Brand, but I enjoy these projects and would like to share these.

 

The number beside the name is the number of these projects remaining to be completed before we change that pattern. Don't worry about completing your project before we change the pattern, just be sure to have your patterns printed and aren't relying on these links!

I will be starting the Absecon Afghan in an assortment of pinks and dusty roses.

Hi there, I was poking around at the CAL's and saw that this one was for beginners (I still think of myself as a newbie) and was interested in the sweater pattern, but it's for knitting. Is it the wrong link or do you knit too?
