I don't understand the part about twisting the fiest 6 chains and pulling thd rest through.

This is the way I do the twisted loops. Starting with a ch-6 loop in the middle of the afghan, put your finger into the ch-6 loop space. Move finger with loop from right to left. This should cross the loop at the bottom. Then twist second loop the same way, pull the second loop from behind through the first loop, twist the third loop and pull it through the second loop. Do this for all 8 loop column repeats around afghan. Julee just did the twist to the first one at the center.
