The movie's even better than the TV show. Now I'll have to wait for it to be rebroadcast so I can watch it again, this time for the crochet! Patty

Because of this thread, I went to Netflix and watched the movie via streaming. It had been quite a while since I had seen the movie (several decades actually...) I was a fan of the tv show when I was a kid.

 

Anyway, look for more than the afghans...the shawls were awesome, but not only that, there was a dress Mrs. Muir was wearing that had some cut work with some crocheted trim and roses on a dress with 3/4 sleeves...just exquisit...

 

Wonderful movie and I was so happy with the ending.

I have that movie on DVD. I recorded on the DVR and saved it DVD. Love the movie and remember the afghan and shawls. Nothing like the old classics.
