you're off to a great start. Don't get discouraged when you start sewing the squares together. Sew some then crochet some and the project will be done before you know it. Good luck.

Hi! Just checking out your first Granny Squares ~ you're doing GREAT! :) How are you coming along with the future squares now, since you've got a few more months into this? ;) I love the colors, too ~ they're just right for that *new baby girl* afghan . . . or just an *extra feminine girlie* afghan . . . or that special Breast Cancer Awareness afghan. If you don't want to make an afghan, you could always make this bag. It doesn't matter what pattern you use for the squares - just follow the diagram for the layout of them & add the strap. It helps you get your feet wet assembling squares plus you have a nice bag to use for your projects.
