A Rainbow of Bookmarks

I like to make my DD something special for Christmas each year. She is almost 5 yo and really enjoying the Rainbow Magic series of books right now. There is a fairy for each colour of the rainbow and each fairy has her own book. DD is collecting all seven. Each fairy has a shape/symbol that poofs out with her fairy dust: flowers, bubbles, butterflies, leaves, stars, ink droplets and flowers again. I made her a bookmark for each book with the shape or symbol for each fairy. I used this pattern as a beginning point:
