pivot st can some one tell me how to do this stitch Thanks

Please say what you are making and how the word is used in the pattern. The only place I've seen that is when you pivot to go down the side on a border.

If it's picot this will help with it and other stitches too,

stitch

this is the Pattern Strap: Ch 43; 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch to last ch; 3 sc in last ch; pivot and work sc in remaining loop of each ch across; slip st in each sc around. Fasten off.

and this is the Patternhttp://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-Hats-Scarves-Gloves/Newsboy-Cap-Crochet-Pattern-from-Red-Heart

Thanks, Yes It does mean to pivot or turn and then do the stitches in the unused loops on the other side of the chain.

but it is nice to know I guess we can always learn a new way or word in crocheting
